Welcome to Troop 710! We are a Scouts BSA troop based in San Jose, California — but we're not a real troop. :) Troop 710 is a practice troop website used by the SOAR team to test all the exciting new features that we're working on to make the SOAR experience even better. But sometimes we like to take hiking and camping trips together anyways!

Yosemite backpacking trip report

Our troop had a wonderful weekend trip to Yosemite, where we camped in Tuolumne Meadows. After a hard day of hiking, we ate hot dogs and s'mores around the campfire, then sang songs until it was time for bed. On Sunday, we went for a swim in the lake, looked for bears, and then drove back home. Can't wait until our trip to Joshua Tree next weekend!
